Converting from MouseTracker 1.x

Both the experiment .CSV files and the .MT data files are slightly different in MouseTracker 2.0. But it's not at all hard to get them up-to-speed with 2.0.

To convert an experiment .CSV file from 1.x to 2.0, simply load it in the new Designer program. It will recognize that it's from an older version and ask you if you'd like to convert. Simply say 'Yes'. Then, save it as a new .CSV file. To know more about the format of .CSV files in 2.0, check out Creating  experiments.

To convert .MT data files to 2.0 so they may be read into Analyzer, simply load them using Analyzer. It will recognize that they're from an older version and ask if you'd like to convert. It will then ask you to locate your already-converted-from-1.x-to-2.0 .CSV file (see above). Once you locate, the .MT data files will work just fine. The .MT data files are not actually edited, however, so with old 1.x .MT files, you'll have to do this extra step each time you want to analyze them. However, for future data in 2.0, you won't need to do this conversion or locate the experiment .CSV file.
